Portland, Ore., March 28 - Talvivaara Mining Co. plc has privately placed a €110 million issue of 9¾% five-year senior bonds, according to a press release issued by the company on Wednesday.
The bonds were placed with Finnish and international institutional and private investors, the company stated.
Danske Markets and Nordea Markets were the joint bookrunners.
Proceeds will be used to refinance debt and for general corporate purposes.
Helsinki-based Talvivaara Mining is a base metals producer with its primary focus on nickel and zinc.
