New Issue: Scotiabank prices $13.14 million enhanced participation notes linked to Taiwan Taiex

Tacoma, Wash., May 28 - Bank of Nova Scotia priced $13.14 million of 0% enhanced participation notes due Sept. 28, 2016 linked to the Taiwan Taiex index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the final index level is greater than the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 315% of the index return. If the final index level is less than the initial level, investors will be fully exposed to the decline.
Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. is the underwriter with Goldman Sachs & Co. as the distribution agent.
