S&P affirms Taiwan Life

Standard & Poor's said it affirmed the BBB+ long-term insurer financial strength and counterparty credit ratings of Taiwan Life Insurance Co. Ltd.

The outlook is stable.

S&P said the ratings reflect the company's satisfactory operating performance, good liquidity, and adequate capitalization. Moderating factors include the challenges that the company faces to improve its modest market position in a competitive operating environment.
