S&P affirms Taiwan Fire

Standard & Poor's said it affirmed the BBB local-currency insurer financial strength and counterparty credit ratings on Taiwan Fire & Marine Insurance Co. Ltd.

The outlook is stable.

S&P said the ratings reflect the insurer's strong capitalization, good liquidity and satisfactory operating performance.

Moderating factors include the company's sensitivity to market risks due to its aggressive investment allocation, the agency said.
