S&P: Awesome outlook positive

Standard & Poor's said it affirmed its B corporate credit rating on Awesome Acquisition Co. LP and revised the outlook to positive from stable.

S&P said the outlook was revised because Awesome paid down debt and enhanced its credit metrics, despite same-store sales pressure, and because the agency expects this trend to continue in the near term.

The ratings on Awesome, which franchises and operates Cici's Pizza restaurants, reflect its participation in the highly competitive quick-service pizza restaurant industry and its aggressively leveraged capital structure, the agency said.
