Moody's rates Avon notes Baa2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Baa2 rating to Avon Products, Inc.'s senior unsecured notes issues totaling $1.5 billion.

The outlook is stable.

Avon's Baa2 senior unsecured rating reflects its position as the world's largest direct selling company, its strong brand recognition, and broad geographic diversification, especially in higher growth developing markets, Moody's said.
