Deal sells company's common shares through Piper Jaffray

Knoxville, Tenn., Jan. 11 - S&W Seed Co. said it priced a $10.5 million public offering of stock.
The company will sell 1.4 million common shares at $7.50 per share. The price per share reflects an 8.2% discount to the Jan. 10 closing share price of $8.17.
Piper Jaffray & Co. is the manager.
Settlement is expected on Jan. 16.
Proceeds will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes, which may include future business acquisitions.
The producer of warm climate, high-yield alfalfa seed varieties is based in Five Points, Calif.
