New Issue: Barclays prices $2.73 million enhanced step-up notes linked to index basket

Tacoma, Wash., Dec. 6 – Barclays Bank plc priced $2.73 million of 0% enhanced market-linked step-up notes with buffer due Nov. 29, 2024 linked to a basket of indexes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket includes the S&P 500 index with a 33.33% weight, the MSCI Emerging Markets index with a 33.33% weight, the Euro Stoxx 50 index with a 13.33% weight, the FTSE 100 index with a 6.67% weight, the Nikkei 225 index with a 6.67% weight, the Swiss Market index with a 2.5% weight, the S&P/ASX 200 index with a 2.5% weight and the Hang Seng index with a 1.67% weight.

If the final basket level is greater than the step-up value, 129.5% of the initial basket level, the payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus the basket gain.

If the final basket level is less than or equal to the step-up level but greater than or equal to the threshold value, 90% of the initial basket level, the payout will be par plus 29.5%.

If the final basket level is less than the threshold value, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the basket declines beyond 10%.
