S&P rates Swire notes A-

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an A- rating to Swire Pacific MTN Financing Ltd.'s proposed issue of HK$250 million senior unsecured fixed rate notes due March 2018.

The issue is a drawdown under a $2.5 billion medium-term notes program offered by Swire Pacific MTN Financing Ltd. and Swire Properties Offshore Financing Ltd. and guaranteed by Swire Pacific Ltd. (A-/stable).

Proceeds will be used for working capital.
