Swedbank plans issue of notes due 2012

New York, Feb. 2 - Swedbank is planning an issue of notes due 2012, a market source said Monday.
The source, citing media reports, said the deal had not priced by late afternoon.
Bookrunners are Goldman Sachs & Co., J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. and Merrill Lynch & Co.
The AAA-rated bank is based in Stockholm.
