Moody's lowers Swedish banks

Moody's Investors Service said it downgraded the long-term debt and deposit ratings for two Swedish banking groups by one notch, the ratings for one institution by two notches and confirmed the ratings for two other groups.

Specifically, the agency said it downgraded by one notch the debt and deposit ratings for Nordea Bank AB and the ratings for Svenska Handelsbanken AB.

Additionally, the agency said it downgraded by two notches the debt and deposit ratings for Landshypotek AB.

Moody's said it confirmed the debt and deposit ratings for SEB, as well as those for Swedbank AB.

All ratings for these groups now carry stable outlooks.
