Fitch stabilizes Svenska Handelsbanken view

Fitch said it revised the Svenska Handelsbanken AB's outlook to stable from negative and affirmed the long-term issuer default rating at AA.

“The outlook revision is primarily driven by our expectation that Handelsbanken will be able to restore its operating profitability, with operating profit sustainably in excess of 3% of risk-weighted assets (RWA) from 2022, through a combination of cost measures and revenue growth,” Fitch said in a press release.
