New Issue: Nuveen, Merrill upsize Elements linked to Rogers agriculture index to $88.5 million for Svensk

Tacoma, Wash., Jan. 8 - AB Svensk Exportkredit priced an additional $21.5 million of 0% Elements due Oct. 24, 2022 linked to the Rogers International Commodity Index - Agriculture Total Return in four tranches via Nuveen Investments and Merrill Lynch & Co., according to 424B2 filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company priced $7.5 million of notes at 111.249 on Jan. 3, another $5 million of notes at 111.570 on Jan. 3, $5 million of notes at 111.136 on Jan. 4 and $4 million of notes at 110.019 on Jan. 7.

The latest tranches bring the total issue size to $88.5 million.

Previously, Svensk priced $4 million of the notes at par on Oct. 17, $2.5 million at 100.782 on Oct. 31, $4.5 million at 100.357 on Nov. 7, $5 million at 101.105 on Nov. 8, $9 million at 100.124 on Nov. 12, $5 million at 99.899 on Nov. 13, $5 million at 103.162 on Dec. 5, $6 million at 105.895 on Dec. 11, $10 million at 108.570 on Dec. 20, $6 million at 108.529 on Dec. 31 and $5 million at 110.348 on Jan. 2.

The company has registered and may issue up to $250 million of the notes.

The index represents the value of a basket of 20 agricultural commodity futures contracts and is a sub-index of the Rogers International Commodity Index - Total Return, which is a composite, dollar-based, total return index representing the value of a basket of commodities consumed in the global economy.

The payout at maturity will be par plus the index return, less an annual investor fee of 0.75% times the proportion of days elapsed.

Beginning Jan. 28, 2008, holders may put back the notes on a weekly repurchase date. There is a minimum put requirement of $5 million of notes.

The notes were approved for listing on the American Stock Exchange under the symbol "RJA."
