Banc of America to price 0% notes linked to crude oil for Svensk

Seattle, Aug. 16 - Banc of America Securities LLC plans to price an offering of 0% notes due Aug. 31, 2010 linked to crude oil for issuer AB Svensk Exportkredit, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are expected to settle on Aug. 31.

The payout at maturity will be based on the average of the closing levels of a West Texas Intermediate light sweet crude oil futures contract on Aug. 27 of 2008, 2009 and 2010. If the average level of the contract is greater than the initial level, the payout will be par plus the increase. Otherwise, the payout will be par.
