Susquehanna files automatic shelf registration

Knoxville, Tenn., Nov. 6 - Susquehanna Bancshares, Inc., Susquehanna Capital I and Susquehanna Capital II jointly filed an automatic shelf registration in an S-3-ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The filing for Susquehanna Bancshares covers junior subordinated debentures.

The filing for Susquehanna Capital I and Susquehanna Capital II covers capital securities guaranteed by Susquehanna Bancshares.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Susquehanna Bancshares, based in Lititz, Pa., is a financial holding company that provides a range of retail and commercial banking and financial services through its subsidiaries in the mid-Atlantic region.
