S&P rates Avnet notes BBB-

S&P said it rated Avnet Inc.'s planned senior unsecured notes due 2032 with the final amount to be determined, BBB-.

The BBB- issuer credit rating and stable outlook on the company are unchanged, the agency said.

Avnet plans to use the proceeds primarily to redeem its 4.875% notes due Dec. 1, of which $350 million are currently outstanding, including accrued and unpaid interest and any premium thereon, and for general corporate purposes.
