SunTrust Banks announces issue of senior notes

Omaha, Oct. 30 - SunTrust Banks, Inc. announced an issue of senior notes Tuesday.

The notes (Aa3/A+/A+) will be non-callable.

The sole bookrunner will be SunTrust Robinson Humphrey.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

The bank is based in Atlanta.
