Moody's might downgrade Suntory

Moody's Japan KK said it placed Suntory Holdings Ltd.'s A3 issuer rating and senior unsecured rating under review for downgrade.

The review follows the announcement that Suntory will acquire Beam Inc. (Baa2, positive) for $16 billion and the agency's expectation that the transaction will lead to a significant increase in debt and financial leverage for Suntory.
