Suntech Power's 0.25% convertible senior notes are now convertible

Knoxville, Tenn., Jan. 15 - Suntech Power Holdings Co. Ltd. said that holders of its 0.25% convertible senior notes due 2012 may convert their securities through Feb. 10.

Suntech is a Wuxi, China-based maker of solar cells.
