Suntec REIT may issue S$500 million notes under multicurrency program

Chicago, July 26 - Suntec Real Estate Investment Trust has set up a S$500 million multicurrency medium-term note program, according to a press release by its manager, ARA Trust Management (Suntec) Ltd.

Under the program, the issuer may issue notes in series or tranches from time to time in Singapore dollars or other currencies.

Proceeds will be used to refinance debt, to finance or refinance acquisitions or investments, to fund asset enhancement works and for working capital.

HSBC Institutional Trust Services (Singapore) Ltd. is the trustee. Citicorp Investment Bank (Singapore) Ltd. is the arranger and dealer.

Singapore-based Suntec owns retail and commercial real estate in the central business district of Singapore.
