Sunstone Hotel Investors files $500 million shelf registration

Knoxville, Tenn., Nov. 6 - Sunstone Hotel Investors Inc. filed a $500 million shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers common stock, preferred stock and depositary shares.

The preferreds may be convertible.

Sunstone Hotel Investors is a lodging real estate investment trust based in San Clemente, Calif.
