S&P: Sunrise Senior Living unaffected

Standard & Poor's said the ratings and outlook on Sunrise Senior Living Inc. (BB-/stable/--) will not be affected by the company's announcement that it has postponed the release of its fourth-quarter and full-year financial results.

S&P said the reason for the postponement is not a significant concern. The company needs additional time to review its classification of about $15 million of certain prepaid assets.

Sunrise expects to reschedule its earnings release by March 16.
