Sunrise Securities hires Ong, Driker for its debt capital markets team

St. Louis, May 22 - John Ong and Konstantin Driker joined the debt capital markets team of Sunrise Securities Corp., a New York based boutique investment bank.

Sunrise, which specializes in raising capital for middle-market public and private companies, is undertaking a significant new expansion into fixed income, corporate debt and structured finance.

Earlier this year, the firm also boosted its investment banking origination effort with new teams based in Houston and Canada.

Both Ong and Driker formerly worked in the loan and high-yield capital markets group of BNP Paribas.

Ong, who joins Sunrise as senior managing director and head of debt capital markets, was formerly co-head of BNP's loan and high-yield capital markets group. Before that he was global head of high yield at BNP.

Driker, now managing director for Sunrise, was the senior originator and transactor in BNP's loan and high-yield capital markets group.

With the Sunrise team Ong and Driker will have a broad mandate for debt capital markets as well as capital structure advisory.
