Sunrise shareholders OK issue of RM 400 million Islamic medium-term notes

New York, April 3 - Sunrise Bhd. announced that its shareholders approved the company's plan to issue up to RM 400 million of Islamic medium-term notes.

As already reported, the company is proposing to increase the limit of its Islamic medium-term note program to RM 400 million from its present limit of RM 150 million in order to offer the notes.

The company announced plans for the issue on Nov. 29.

Sunrise is a property development company in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
