Fitch boosts Sun Microsystems

Fitch Ratings said it upgraded Sun Microsystems Inc.'s issuer default rating to A from BBB- following Oracle Corporation's (A/stable) acquisition of Sun, and withdrew its ratings as the company no longer has any debt.

The outlook is stable.
