S&P rates Sun Hung notes A

Standard & Poor's said it assigned its A corporate issue rating to a proposed issue of Singapore dollar fixed-rate notes due 2009, adding that the issuer is Sun Hung

Kai Properties (Singapore) Pte. Ltd.

The agency added that the issue is unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by Sun Hung Kai Properties Ltd. (A/stable).

The issue size is planned at up to Singapore dollars 270 million, S&P said, added that the proceeds will be used for general corporate funding by subsidiaries of Sun Hung Kai Properties.
