SunEdison seeks court approval of bidding procedures in asset sale

Morgantown, W.Va., Oct. 11 – SunEdison, Inc. is seeking approval of bidding procedures for a sale of turbines, according to a motion filed Saturday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The company is auctioning 15 wind turbines. BayWa r.e. Wind, LLC is the stalking horse bidder.

A hearing on the motion will be held at 10 a.m. ET on Oct. 20. Objections must be filed with the court no later than 4 p.m. on Oct. 18.

Based in Maryland Heights, Mo., SunEdison operates renewable power plants. It filed for bankruptcy on April 21 under Chapter 11 case number 16-10992.
