Suncor eyes dollar-denominated fixed-rate notes via three bookrunners

Knoxville, Tenn., Nov. 8 – Suncor Energy Inc. expects to price dollar-denominated fixed-rate notes, according to a prospectus filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes feature a make-whole call and then a par call.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc., HSBC Securities (USA) Inc. and Mizuho Securities USA Inc. are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to repay upcoming long-term debt maturities and for general corporate purposes.

Suncor is a Calgary, Alta., energy company.
