Omaha, Sept. 19 - Suncor Energy Inc. priced $400 million add-on to its 6.5% notes due 2038 on Wednesday to yield Treasuries plus 163 basis points, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
The additional notes (A3/A-) priced at 100.296 to yield 6.477% and have a make-whole call of Treasuries plus 25 bps.
Bookrunners were Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities Inc.
With the additional notes, the total size of the 6.5% notes is now $1.15 billion.
Suncor is a Canadian energy company based in Calgary, Alta.
