By Paul A. Harris

St. Louis, July 5 - Avis Finance Co. plc will begin a roadshow next week for its unrated €200 million offering of seven-year floating-rate notes, according to a market source.

Presentations will take place on Monday and Tuesday in London, on Wednesday in Edinburgh, Scotland, and on Thursday in Frankfurt, Germany.

Barclays Capital, The Royal Bank of Scotland, Dresdner Kleinwort and Societe Generale are joint bookrunners for the Regulation S offering. Fortis Bank is co-manager.

The notes will come with two years of call protection.

Proceeds will be used to refinance maturing debt.

The prospective issuer is a subsidiary of Avis Europe plc, a car rental company that operates in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia, and has headquarters in Bracknell, Berkshire, U.K.
