Discovery Equity Partners buys 237,058 shares of SumTotal

Charlotte, N.C., Jan. 26 - SumTotal Systems, Inc. investors led by Discovery Equity Partners, LP purchased 237,058 shares of the company's stock between Nov. 28 and Jan. 23 at prices from $2.26 to $3.15 each, according to a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The investors bought 541,907 shares of the company's common stock between Nov. 10 and Nov. 13 priced from $3.19 to $3.45 each, a prior SEC filing said.
Discovery Equity beneficially owns 2,808,953 shares, or 8.9%, of the company's stock.
SumTotal is based in Mountain View, Calif., and provides learning and business performance technologies and services.
