Sumner Regional Health Systems case name change reflects asset sale

By Lisa Kerner

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 9 - Sumner Regional Health Systems, Inc.'s request to change the debtors' names on case captions was approved, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.

The name changes were requested to reflect the completed sale of substantially all of the debtors' assets, including their entity names as intellectual property, the motion requesting the change said.

As of Sept. 1, the following name changes are effective:

• Sumner Regional Health Systems, Inc. to SRHS Bankruptcy, Inc.;

• Trousdale Medical Center, Inc. to TMC Bankruptcy, Inc.;

• Frank T. Rutherford Memorial Hospital, Inc. to FTRMH Bankruptcy, Inc.;

• SRHS Holdings, LLC to Holdings Bankruptcy, Inc.;

• Sumner Homecare and Hospice, LLC to SHH Bankruptcy, LLC;

• Family Wellness Group of Middle Tennessee, LLC to FWGMT Bankruptcy, LLC; and

• Clinic Care, LLC to CC Bankruptcy, LLC.

As previously reported, in June the court approved Sumner Regional's proposed $154.11 million sale of its assets to LifePoint Hospitals, Inc.

Sumner Regional, a Tennessee health care provider, filed for bankruptcy on April 30. Its Chapter 11 case number is 10-04766.
