Sumitomo Mitsui offers fixed-rate senior notes via four bookrunners

Knoxville, Tenn., June 29 – Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group Inc. intends to offer dollar-denominated fixed-rate senior notes, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are non-callable.

SMBC Nikko Securities America Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used to extend unsecured loans to SMBC.

The banking and financial company is based in Tokyo.
