Moody's: Sumitomo bonds Aa3

Moody's Japan K.K. said it has assigned an Aa3 rating to the senior unsecured bonds issued by Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp.

The outlook is stable.

The Aa3 rating on the senior unsecured bonds incorporate the bank's standalone bank financial strength rating of C, equivalent to a baseline credit assessment of A3 and Moody's assessment of "very high" systemic support probability.
