Prospect News reports one new default for week of July 2 to July 8

Pittsburgh, July 10 – Prospect News reported one new default for the period of July 2 through July 8.
Specifically, Prospect News reported Berau Capital Resources Pte. Ltd.’s moratorium on creditor enforcement proceedings.
In addition, Prospect News reported Afren plc’s Chapter 15 bankruptcy payment and Subex Ltd.’s missed interest payment on its 5.7% secured convertible bonds due 2017. However, Afren previously defaulted in connection with missed interest payments, and Subex previously defaulted in connection with a January 2014 missed interest payment.
Prospect News has reported 97 defaults so far in 2015, including 42 Chapter 11 bankruptcy filings, 15 missed interest payments, 10 Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act filings, seven distressed exchanges, six Chapter 15 bankruptcy filings, three bankruptcy filings, two each of reorganizations and missed principal payments and one each of Chapter 7 bankruptcy filings, arrangements of debt, judicial recovery requests, missed interest payments paid within the grace period, missed principal and interest payments, missed payments, defaults, insolvencies, schemes of arrangement and moratoriums.
