Stratus Technologies starts roadshow Tuesday for $170 million five-year notes

St. Louis, Oct. 27 - Stratus Technologies Inc. starts the roadshow Tuesday for an offering of $170 million of senior notes due 2008 (B2 expected/B), according to an informed source.

The deal is expected to price on Nov. 6.

Goldman Sachs & Co. and JP Morgan are joint bookrunners on the Rule 144A offer.

Stratus will use proceeds to repay debt and to repurchase common and preferred shares.

The company is a Maynard, Me.-based provider of communications services and technology.
