Strategic Hotels to name up to three new directors

Charlotte, N.C., Dec. 15 - Strategic Hotels & Resorts, Inc. said it will appoint up to three new independent directors to sit on its board.

The company's significant stockholders will assistance in the process of identifying possible candidates.

"It is wise to re-evaluate the composition of the board of directors, especially during these challenging times," chairman of the board William Prezant said in a company news release. "Our goal is to have a board of directors that possesses a wide range of experience, skills, and opinions."

Strategic Hotels is a Chicago-based real estate investment trust.
