Morgan Stanley eyes partial principal at risk notes on Stoxx Europe

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 1 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC plans to price 0% equity-linked partial principal at risk securities due May 4, 2023 linked to the Stoxx Europe 600 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 108% to 113% of any index gain. The exact participation rate will be set at pricing.

If the index falls or remains flat, the payout will be par plus the return, with a minimum payout of $950 per $1,000 of notes.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent.

The notes (Cusip: 61769HXY6) will price Oct. 28 and settle Oct. 31.
