S&P places Stonegate on developing watch

S&P said it placed Stonegate Pub Co. Ltd. on CreditWatch with developing implications. The agency cited Stonegate’s proposal to acquire Ei Group plc.

In addition, the agency put the company’s B- rating and issue-level ratings on CreditWatch.

The deal will be financed through new cash equity and senior and second-lien financing from banks.
