Stolt-Nielsen to redeem senior notes

New York, Feb. 28 - Stolt-Nielsen SA said it will redeem all $295.4 million principal amount of its senior notes.

The London-based provider of transportation services for bulk liquid chemicals, edible oils, acids and other specialty liquids said it expects to complete the redemption within its second fiscal quarter.

Following the transaction, Stolt-Nielsen also plans to refinance other debt in order to lower its financing costs.
