Stena begins roadshow for secured notes; repayment of 2025 notes eyed

By Paul A. Harris

Portland, Ore., Sept. 18 – Stena AB started a roadshow on Monday for an offering of senior secured notes, according to a company press release.

The deal could come in euro-denominated and/or dollar-denominated notes with a tenor of five to eight years, the release stated.

The company is also contemplating a possible add-on to its euro-denominated 7¼% senior secured notes due 2028.

Proceeds will be used to redeem the senior secured notes due 2025.

The company expects to repay the senior notes due 2024 at their maturity through its available liquidity, the Monday press release stated.

Stena is a Gothenburg, Sweden-based conglomerate which is heavily focused on maritime shipping.
