S&P: Stater Bros. view stable

Standard & Poor's said it revised the outlook on Stater Bros. Holdings Inc. to stable from negative and affirmed its B+ corporate credit rating.

"The outlook revision reflects Stater Bros.' successful completion and integration of its new distribution facility," S&P analyst Jackie E. Oberoi said in a statement.

"At the same time and despite very difficult economic conditions caused by high unemployment and a poor housing market, the company maintained credit metrics characteristic of a B+ rating," Oberoi added.
