China's State Grid on roadshow for new dollar-denominated notes

Atlanta, May 8 - State Grid Corp. of China is on a roadshow with HSBC, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, BOC International, ICBC International, JPMorgan, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank and UBS for a dollar-denominated offering of notes (Aa3/AA-/A+), a market source said.

The roadshow began Wednesday and will be held in Asia, Europe and the United States.

A Rule 144A and Regulation S deal is expected to follow.

The power distributor is based in Beijing.
