State Bank of India approves issuing Rs. 50 billion of long-term bonds

Columbus, Ohio, Nov. 10 – State Bank of India’s central board’s executive committee approved the issuance of Rs. 50 billion of long-term infrastructure and affordable housing bonds during fiscal year 2017, according to a Bombay Stock Exchange notice.

The bonds are to be issued in multiple tranches by private placement in domestic and overseas markets.

State Bank of India is a Mumbai-based public sector banking and financial services company.
