Fitch rates Standard Chartered (Taiwan) bond AAA(twn)

Fitch Ratings said it assigned Standard Chartered Bank (Taiwan) Ltd.'s proposed NTS 8.3 billion senior bonds a AAA(twn) national long-term rating. The bond will be issued in three tranches, will carry floating and fixed coupon rates and mature on Jan. 17 of 2014 and 2015.

The national long-term rating is AAA(twn).

The outlook is stable.

Standard Chartered Bank (AA-/stable) acquired the bank in 2006 and renamed it, according to the agency.
