New Issue: Standard Chartered prices $1 billion 6.4% 10-year notes at Treasuries plus 180 bps

Omaha, Sept. 21 - Standard Chartered Bank priced $1 billion of 6.4% 10-year lower tier two notes on Friday to yield Treasuries plus 180 basis points, an informed source said.
The Rule 144A notes (A3/A) priced at 99.781 to yield 6.43%.
Bookrunners were Goldman, Sachs & Co., J.P. Morgan Securities Inc., UBS Securities LLC and Standard Chartered.
The bank is based in London.
