Sri Lanka guides pricing on dollar five-, 10-year notes

By Rebecca Melvin

New York, June 24 – The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka guided pricing of its planned benchmarks of U.S. dollar-denominated five- and 10-year notes (expected ratings B2/B/B), according to a market source on Monday.

The five-year notes were talked to yield in the area of 6.6%.

The 10-year notes were talked to yield in the area of 7.8%.

The Rule 144A and Regulation S notes were being sold via joint bookrunners BOC International, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, JPMorgan, SMBC Nikko and Standard Chartered Bank.

The proceeds will be used for expenditures sanctioned by the Parliament of Sri Lanka for 2019.
