S&P rates Sri Lanka notes B+

S&P said it assigned its B+ long-term foreign currency rating to Sri Lanka’s (B+/stable/B) proposed benchmark-sized dollar-denominated senior notes.

The notes represent direct, general, unconditional, unsecured and unsubordinated obligations of the sovereign.

Additionally, the notes rank equally with the sovereign's other unsecured and unsubordinated debt obligations, the agency said.
