Fitch rates Sri Lanka bonds B+

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an expected rating of B+ to Sri Lanka's upcoming dollar-denominated bonds.

The expected rating is in line with Sri Lanka's long-term foreign-currency issuer default rating of B+ with stable outlook.

The rating would be sensitive to any changes in Sri Lanka's long-term foreign-currency issuer default rating, the agency said.

The country has a long-term foreign-currency issuer default rating at B+ and revised the outlook to stable from negative.

The long-term local-currency issuer default rating also is B+ with a stable outlook.
