Brown Capital Management increases stake to 6.16% in SPSS

Philadelphia, Feb. 4 - Brown Capital Management, Inc. increased its stake to 6.16% in SPSS Inc. as of Dec. 31, according to an SC 13G/A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

That represents a passive stake of 1,118,527 shares.

Those holdings are up from the passive stake of 5.38%, or 1,028,500 shares, that the investor reported owning on Dec. 31, 2007, according to another SC 13G/A filing.

The Chicago-based company provides predictive analytics technology and services.
